This course will teach you the basics of logging on, creating files and how to use the Microsoft office software packages including the Internet. This 10 week course is therefore a gentle introduction into the use of computers and how to navigate the internet. The first 5 weeks will cover logging onto the system, creating a file, renaming a file, making folders and renaming them, delete, copy and paste. The second 5 weeks will cover an introduction to the Microsoft suite of packages to include Word and Excel. In addition, you will use the Internet to gain experience using Google as a search engine and downloading images of your choice. Please be aware the classroom for this course is on the first or second floor of the Brockley Rise Centre.
