This 5 session supportive distance learning course is aimed at learners who already have a partially completed garment project, or who want to start a new project and may not need or want to be classroom based. You will continue to develop your knowledge of the key skills & processes in garment construction in your own time- and in addition to working on a garment of your choice, you may also wish to sample some new techniques that will be covered. You will have a weekly group feedback and guidance session with the tutor, and also be able to work at your own pace with a range of supportive online technical resources. As a guide, in 5 weeks less experienced learners should be able to complete at least a simple dress, top, skirt or trousers. Returners & improvers should be able to move on to potentially more complex garments using different construction methods.
