On this course you will use IT to write and proof read a variety of texts in preparation for your writing exam. You will have the opportunity to discuss with the group the topics of the texts presented. You will learn to use different fonts according to the text genre; have knowledge of different text genre and layout; plan your text; use the Thesaurus device to create better quality texts; use ALL Moodle to look at other learners' work; use drag and drop to re-organise text; use the grammar check and spell check devices to proof read writing; use the show - hide formatting function in Word to help with text layout; practise exam papers online.
