We all like to wear fabrics with stretch for fit, comfort, drape and flexibility of movement- but sewing with them can sometimes seem challenging- so this course will help to take the fear out of working with jerseys & knits! You will learn how to pin & cut your pattern from the fabric, how to use & adjust the overlock machine for jersey/stretch fabrics, and produce seam, hem & binding reference samples. You will be introduced to using the overlock machine to hem your garment & to twin needle stitching. You will complete at least one garment on the course and some learners may find they are able to work on a second item.
