If you would love to be able to sew well, but have never learned to do it before, then this short & friendly course is perfect for you! Learn to use a sewing machine confidently- from correct threading & tension adjustment, to producing a range of stitches & the use of different machine feet. You will make a range of reference samples, including seams, hems, zip insertion & buttonholes to enable you to apply your new skills to your home sewing projects or on a new course at ALL. You will also have the option to make a simple craft item of your choice such as a cushion with a zip or buttonhole fastening, a soft fabric shopping bag or zipped cosmetics/toiletries bag.
