You are invited to try out Iyengar yoga for the first time or remind yourself of its methodologies. Iyengar yoga is a methodical and progressive style of teaching with an emphasis on detailed instructions, precision and alignment in the performance of yoga postures. It is available to everyone and is characterised by its use of props to enhance accessibility to learners in achieving the classical shape of the pose, regardless of their age or ability, until they are able to perform it unaided.You will sample a number of yoga asanas (postures) and a quiet relaxation. This short taster will enable you to gain insight into Iyengar yoga and try it out.
