When your child starts stretching, grasping, crawling and toddling their world suddenly expands! Children are constantly learning through their senses of smell, touch, taste, sound and sight, using these senses to explore and discover the world around them. Throughout this course we will explore fun ways of making and creating sensory resources for play and investigation. We will look at everyday, throwaway materials in a new way to give your child opportunity for open-ended, exploratory, sensory play utilising those new found skills in movement. There will be materials available for you to make with and to take home and there will be time for you and your child to play and explore sensory materials and objects together.
