This short course is an ideal introduction for those who want to learn how to repair and to extend the life & use of much loved textiles in their life. We all have a favourite pair of socks where the heels have rubbed thin, or a blanket with some moth holes that are simply too good to throw away! You will learn & sample hand stitching techniques such as darning & patching alongside and be introduced to the decorative technique of Sashiko. Please bring in a textile item that you wish to repair and have expert support & guidance on planning and beginning to work on it
