Clay is very tactile and using your hands to create can reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and the feeling of being present, as well as the gentle movement offering strength and mobility to the hands and wrists. In our mindful pottery class, you will learn how to use different clay working methods to produce meaningful objects and be introduced to several ways of applying decoration to your ceramic forms. You will also learn some basic good workshop practice and how to operate safely in pottery.
