Learn different ways to approach the still life genre in this 10-week drawing and painting class. You'll gain confidence in all aspects of still life, from planning and composition to colour theory and working in different media. As you experiment, you'll take inspiration from still life artists, both contemporary and those from history. The course culminates in a four-week study of a still life arrangement chosen by you and your fellow students, giving you plenty of time to interpret the genre in the medium of your choice.
