This painting class will examine exciting and diverse painters and artists who are working in the contemporary art world today. The first 5 weeks of this 10 week class will focus on the colour, technique and ideas of a living artist. Each week, you will create a small painting that is inspired by their artwork. The second 5 weeks will be independent where you will create your own imagery inspired by the artists that interest you most in your choice of material. Learners may also work on a personal project for the duration of the course if preferred.
