This short course explores how everyday beverage cartons often known by the brand name Tetra Pak can be transformed into expressive print plates for creative illustration. Participants learn how the layered structure of these cartons makes them ideal for relief printmaking: the surface can be cut, scored, and peeled to create lines, textures, and tonal areas that translate beautifully into inked prints.Across the sessions, learners develop illustration skills while experimenting with this sustainable printmaking method. The course blends drawing, design, and hands on plate making, encouraging participants to turn simple sketches into bold printed artworks. By the end, each participant will have created a series of prints using recycled carton plates, gaining confidence in both illustration and eco friendly printmaking techniques.
