This engaging one-day workshop invites participants to explore life drawing through the rich and imaginative lens of myth and storytelling. Suitable for beginners and those with some drawing experience, the course focuses on developing observational skills while encouraging creative interpretation inspired by mythological themes.Working from a live model, learners will be guided through exercises that explore proportion, gesture, and composition, with an emphasis on creating expressive and narrative-driven drawings. Drawing inspiration from classical and contemporary myths, participants will experiment with pose, character, and atmosphere, considering how storytelling can inform the way the human figure is represented.Tutor-led demonstrations and individual guidance will support learners in exploring mark-making, tone, and movement, helping to bring energy and drama into their work. All materials and the cost of the model are included in the course fee.
