This course supports adults living with, or recovering from a mental health condition, who have little or no IT experience and would like to build confidence using digital devices for everyday life and work. You will develop practical computer skills, such as managing files, copying and pasting information, sending emails, and accessing online services safely. Across three terms, you will progress from basic device use to completing independent digital tasks. Sessions are hands-on and paced to support individual needs, using repetition and real-life scenarios. In term 2, you will use the internet to search for information, copy content into documents, and begin using email. You will build on your basic skills to complete meaningful digital tasks. There will be a focus on organisation, productivity, and understanding safe online behaviour.
