This course supports adults living with, or recovering from a mental health condition, who have little or no IT experience and would like to build confidence using digital devices for everyday life and work. You will develop practical computer skills, such as managing files, copying and pasting information, sending emails, and accessing online services safely. Across three terms, you will progress from basic device use to completing independent digital tasks. Sessions are hands-on and paced to support individual needs, using repetition and real-life scenarios. In term 3, you will focus on applying digital skills more independently, completing tasks that combine multiple digital skills. You will explore useful apps, improve typing speed, learn how to download safely and how to connect devices such as bluetooth accessories. The focus is on preparing for real-life use and work-related tasks.
